Skill Level: Easy
Size: 7-7.5” diameter
Gauge: 18 sts and 12 rows = 4” [10 cm] in hdc
Materials
Yarn: Hobby Lobby I Love this Cotton! (100% cotton; 180 yards [165 meters]/100 grams): #60 Red (1 ball), #6 White (1 ball), #80 Antique Gold (1 ball), #2 Black (1 ball)
Hook: US size G/6 (4.0 mm) hook
Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle
Special Stitches
Working in the chain: When working in a chain, work in the back (or bottom) bump of the chain. Flip your chain over to see the bump. This creates a matching edge on the top and the bottom. If your chain is too tight, go up 1 or 2 hook sizes for the chain only. This will create a looser stitch that is easier to work.
Pattern Notes
Unless otherwise noted, the pattern is worked in the round in a continuous spiral, do not join rounds and do not turn. Mark the beginning of each round.
